About Clint Daniels
Country music sensation Clint Daniels entered the music industry with two hits that made it onto the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, drawing inspiration from bluegrass music. In addition to being a well-known vocalist, he is renowned for penning songs for other musicians.
Early Life
He became interested in music as a child while singing in church with his sister. He learned how to play the guitar when he was twelve years old. He relocated to Nashville to pursue a career in country music after finishing high school.
Career
In 1998, Arista Nashville signed him as a solo artist after playing in several bands. Two of the four tracks he released at Arista; "A Fool's Progress" and "When I Grow Up," appeared on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
He joined Epic Records in 2003 but never put out an album. After co-writing Joe Nichols' first Number One single, he concentrated on his songwriting career.
Many artists, including George Strait, and Brooks & Dunn, have covered his tunes. He inked a co-venture publishing agreement with BMG and Porchlight Music in 2019.
Honors
For the song "Some Of It," he was nominated for a Grammy and an ACM in 2020.
