About Colby O'Donis
Colby O'Donis first came to prominence as a ten-year-old boy when he was signed on to record a song for the soundtrack of the 1999 feature film, “Stuart Little”. By age fourteen, he was performing as an opening act for mainstream recording artists at local shows in Florida.
He got into the spotlight again at the national level when he became a signee of Konvict Music and released his debut single, “What You Got” (which featured Akon) in 2008. He is known best for having been featured on the single, “Just Dance” by Lady Gaga. In September 2008, he released his first studio album, “Colby O”.
Family Life
He was born Colby O'Donis Colon to Olga and Freddy Colon. He was raised in Queens, New York and Orlando, Florida alongside an elder sister. In 2016, he married a dancer, actress and life coach named Erin Yvonne. Their first child, a daughter was born in 2019.
Achievements
He won a Teen Choice Award and an American Latino Award in 2009. He also earned a Grammy Award nomination that same year.
Trivia
He played the role of Diego in the series, “Grandpa’s Garage” from 2000 to 2005.
