About Colin Jost
Colin Kelly Jost is an American comedian, actor and writer. He is widely recognized for his work as a writer for the late-night sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live, and its news program, Weekend Update.
Jost starred in the films How to Be Single and Staten Island Summer, which he also wrote. His first appearance on television was in 2002 as a college contestant on the game show, The Weakest Link during which he won $5,250.
Family Life
He is the eldest son of Kerry J. Kelly, former chief medical officer of the New York City Fire Department, and Daniel A. Jost, a former high school teacher. His younger brother, Casey, is also a writer and has been working for the television reality game show, Impractical Jokers. In May 2019, Colin got engaged to actress Scarlett Johansson.
Achievements
His work for Saturday Night Live has won him numerous awards including, but not limited to, the Writers Guild of America Award for Comedy/Variety series in 2007 and the 2009 Peabody Award.
