Personal Life
His birth name was Corey Antoine Maggette and he loved sports since he was a little boy. He got accepted into Fenwick High School where he played basketball exceptionally and was even an All-American. He went on to study at Duke University where he played too.
Career
He started playing professionally with Orlando Magic in 1999 and left them in the year 2000. In the same year, he moved to join Los Angeles Clippers where he stayed for about eight years before moving on to play for Golden State Warriors for about two years. He later played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Bobcats and Detroit Pistons.
Trivia
He handled a program named “Uh Oh Maggette-O Kids” which was targeted at granting kids access to Clippers Games. He also started a training camp named “Corey Maggette Flight 50 Basketball Camp” and trained a lot of children. He got featured in “Drivin’ Me Wild”, a music video by Common.
