Cozy Powell was a rock drummer of British nationality. He began drumming when he was twelve years of age. The first band he joined was called the Corals. When Powell was fifteen years old, he released his first drum musical work.
The musical groups he joined include The Sorcerers, Bedlam, Rainbow, and Michael Schenker Group.
Powell released singles including “Dance with the Devil”, and “The Man in Black”. Also, he collaborated with several artists such as Gary Moore, Robert Plant, and Suzi Quatro. Other credits of his include “Live in Hamburg 1970” with Big Bertha, “Long Live Rock 'n' Roll” with Rainbow, “One Night at Budokan” with The Michael Schenker Group, and “Forcefield IV: Let the Wild Run Free” with Forcefield in 1991.
