About Daesung
Daesung, also known as D-Lite, is a celebrated South Korean singer and actor who first gained popularity being a member of the band Big Bang. He also established a successful solo career with the release of albums such as D'scover and D'slove. In 2011, he starred as Ha Do Sung on the popular South Korean television series What's Up. Aside from singing and acting, he also gained popularity as a television host, co-hosting shows such as Show! Music Core and Family Outing Season 1.
Trivia
In 2009, he was involved in a serious car accident after the van he was traveling in skidded on a wet highway and crashed violently into a guardrail leaving him with severe injuries. His manager and stylist were also passengers in the van and sustained various degrees of injuries too.
