About Dale Robertson
Dale Robertson was an American actor best remembered for his work on television. Some of his most notable television series roles include Ben Calhoun in the ABC Western television series The Iron Horse and Jim Hardie in the popular American Western series Tales of Wells Fargo. He is also known for serving as the final host of the popular radio and television anthology series Death Valley Days. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Family Life
He was married four times. His fourth and final marriage was to Susan Dee Robbins. He and Susan were married from 1980 until his death in 2013. His daughter Rochelle, whom he had with his first wife Frederica Jacqueline Wilson, is his only child.
Trivia
In 1985, he was honored with the Golden Boot Award.
He fought in World War II and was injured on two occasions. His valor during the war earned him a number of military awards, including a Purple Heart.
