Early Life
Cook attended Miami Central High School, where he began to play football in his sophomore year. He was also a top sprinter, competing for Florida State at the 2013 Sam Burley Invitational. He moved to Florida State University in 2014 and was named MVP of the 2014 ACC Championship Game in his first season.
Career
Cook made his professional debut playing for the Minnesota Vikings in 2017. However, he sustained an injury in the fourth week and was on injured reserve for the rest of the season. Sadly he did not fare better in the 2018 season, finishing the season with just 615 rushing yards.
Cook started the 2019 season fully recovered from the injury and he finished the season with 1,135 rushing yards and was ranked 21st among the top 100 NFL players of 2020.
Legal Issues
Cook has had a couple of runnings with the law including the 2021 accusation of assault, and battery of his former girlfriend.
