About Damiano David
Damiano David is an Italian singer and songwriter. He came to prominence as a member and lead vocalist of the Italian rock band Maneskin, which was established in 2016. The members performed as buskers in Rome prior to finding fame in 2017 on “X-Factor Italia”, in which they emerged runners-up.
Their debut album “Il ballo della vita”, released in October 2018, was an instant success. The band made international headlines in 2021 following the members’ performance at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest as Italy’s representatives.
Family Life
He is the son of Rosa Scognamiglio and Daniele David, both of whom worked as flight attendants. He grew up travelling around the world with his parents and elder brother, Jacopo. He began a relationship with model Giorgia Soleri in 2017.
Achievements
He and his bandmates won the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
