Dan Cortese born Daniel James Cortese, was a Director and actor from America. The first time Dan became notable was when he hosted MTV Sports for about five years from 1992.
Personal Life
He married Dee Dee Hemby in 1994 and later divorced in 2012. He had three children.
Education
Dan was a sports lover and played basketball and football in Quaker Valley High School. He continued playing at the University of North Carolina.
He had interest in broadcasting and pursued his studies in the university.
Career
In 1993, he was featured in “Route 66” then followed up with “Traps” which was a police drama. The public started recognizing and following him when he featured in “Melrose Place”, fans loved his work.
In 2002, he was offered a role in “What I Like About You” where he played the role of Vic Maledeo, the show aired for about a year. In 2008, he was asked to host “My Dad is Better Than Your Dad” by Mark Burnett, the producer. ABC again got him to host “Crash Course” which was an interesting game show alongside working on the sitcom “Surviving Surburbia” in the same year.
