Background
Mullen led his high school football team, the Pioneers, to the state championship in 1988. He also played with the Ursinus College team for two years and graduated with a degree in Education.
Career
Mullen started his career coaching the wide receivers of the Wagner College football team in 1994. He was hired by Coach Urban Meyer to coach the Bowling Green Falcons and worked with Meyer again at the Utah Utes team. This Southeastern Coach of the year has mentored some notable players like Alex Smith, Tim Tebow, and Kyle Trask.
Working with top teams like Mississippi State and Florida Gators, Mullen has been dubbed the "New Hampshire mafia" along with other coaches for their influence in New Hampshire. In 2014 this celebrated icon was honored with the George Munger Award.
Personal Life
Mullen married his wife Megan in 2005 and they have two children together.
