Personal Life
She was the daughter of a commercial’s director by name Theodore Arthur Goetz and Sandy Hill. At birth, she was named Dana Lynn Goetz. As she grew up, she struggled with her health and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. At the time, she was very interested in athletics but the illness hindered her progress. She was making waves in athletics at just ten years old when she found out about her health issues after collapsing during a run.
Career
She focused on acting when her sports dreams became impossible to achieve. She started with an advertisement in 1973 before getting into movies and series. In 1978, she was cast in “Mork and Mindy” in which she played the role of a girl scout. In 1982, she featured in the movie “Shoot the Moon” where she was cast as Sherry Dunlap. As of 1996, she had been in seven movies and about forty-five television shows.
Death
In 1996, she fell into a diabetic coma which resulted in a paralytic stroke. In the same year, she passed on.
