Dana Perino was the 27th White House Press Secretary, under the administration of President George W. Bush, from 2007 to 2009, succeeding Tony Snow. She was notable for being just the second female to hold the position of White House Press Secretary.
Post-White House
After her duties in the White House, she became, and still is, a political commentator for Fox News Channel. Perino is also notable for her regular appearances in the news and talk show The Five, which is also under Fox News Channel.
Education
Perino received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications at the Colorado State University-Pueblo in 1993, along with a minor in Political Science and Spanish.
