Danica Patrick is a celebrated auto racing driver and model regarded as the most successful woman in the entire history of American open-wheel racing. She was awarded the Rookie of the Year award for the 2005 IRL IndyCar Series season.

Career

At the young age of 10, she started kart racing. As a teenager, she traveled to England where she advanced her racing career. She returned to the United States in 2002 to drive for Rahal Letterman Racing.

Personal Life

She married her former physical therapist Paul Edward Hospenthal in 2005. The couple divorced in 2012.

Trivia

She appeared in singer Miranda Lambert's Fastest Girl in Town music video.
