Best known for playing six different characters on “Law & Order”, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, and “Law & Order: LA”, Daniel Hugh Kelly is a prolific American actor with decades of experience on stage and on screen.
Early Life
In 1970, he completed Roselle Catholic High School. After graduating from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, in 1974, he attended Catholic University in Washington, D.C., on a full scholarship. From the university, he earned a Master of Fine Arts.
Career
He has performed with the Williamstown Theater Festival, Arena Stage, and the Actors Theater of Louisville.
On daytime television, he played Senator Frank Ryan in the show “Ryan's Hope” (1978–1981). He has been in a number of television shows, including “Ponderosa” and “The 100 Lives of Blackjack Savage” (1991), which he co-produced.
He acted in several feature films, such as “Star Trek: Insurrection”, and “Cujo”.
