Wyllie is known for his theatre performances and his work with the Sydney-based theater company Belvoir. He has also performed in several television and film works, including “Bastard Boys”, “Animal Kingdom” “Puberty Blues” and “Peter Pan”. In the latter, he was cast as Alf Mason.
Honors
In 2004, he received the Silver Logie for “Most Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series” for his stellar performance in “Love My Way”. In the Australian TV drama series, he was cast as Charlie Jackson in more than 25 episodes from 2004 to 2007.

He studied at North Sydney Boys High School and the University of New South Wales.
Career
Wyllie first appeared as Frank Fletcher in the 1992 film “Spotswood”, which was directed by Mark Joffe. Two years later, the actor was cast as Perry Heslop in the comedy-drama film “Muriel’s Wedding”.
He’s appeared in quite a number of television shows, including “Bad Cop, Bad Cop”, where he starred as Detective Cons. He also appeared in the Australian television drama series “The Code”, “Gallipoli”, and “Offspring”.
Trivia
He has a scar near his mouth. The scar came about due to an accident he suffered when he was eighteen years old.
