About David Carradine
David Carradine was an American actor and martial artist who gained international stardom playing the peace-loving Shaolin monk Kwai Chang Caine in the TV series Kung Fu from 1972 to 1975, for which he received both Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominations. He went on to appear in films such as Death Race 2000, Bound for Glory and The Long Riders. He was found dead from asphyxiation in a hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand in 2009.

He was married five times and divorced four times. His last marriage was to Annie Bierman, from 2004 until his death in 2009. He had three children and 4 step children.
Trivia
In 1997, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
