Before she became famous as the anchor of the newsmagazine show, “Inside Edition”, she had gained exposure as the anchor of “NBC News at Sunrise”.
She was also both a correspondent and anchor on “CBS News”. As an entrepreneur, she is known for her Deborah Norville Collection line of yarns.

She and Swedish entrepreneur Karl Wellner got married in 1987. They have three children namely Mikaela, Kyle and Niki.
