DeRay Davis is an American comedian and actor who came into widespread notoriety after being featured in the “Barbershop” movie franchise around the turn of the century. Since then, he has established sort of an omnipresence in African-American entertainment, being featured on everything from movies to various types of television shows and even a considerable number of hip-hop/R&B music videos.
He was featured on Kanye West’s “The College Dropout” (2004) and “Late Registration” (2005) as well as appearing on videos for the likes of Chris Brown, Outkast and Yeezy himself.
His comedic skills has landed him roles on an plethora of shows throughout the years, and most notable in terms of longevity was him being featured on “Wild ‘N Out” from 2005 to 2017 and hosting “Hip Hop Squares” from 2017 to 2019.
