Derrick May is a distinguished American producer, DJ and an acclaimed electronic musician who is regarded as one of the pioneers of the techno music genre together with his Belleville Three members, Kevin Saunderson and Juan Atkins.
May has released a number of singles including Nude Photo (1987), Strings of Life (1987), The Beginning (1990), and Icon/ Kao-tic Harmony (1993).
In 1996, he released his debut album titled, Innovator.
He worked as the music producer for the 2009 martial arts movie, Tekken.
