Diane is an American television star. She has gained popularity on stage, in films and television acting.
Personal Life and Education
Her parents were Marie and Robert Venora, a dry cleaner and she had five siblings. She developed the flair and love for acting at a very young age. In 1980, she got together with Andrzej Bartkowiak but the marriage lasted for about nine years.
In 1970, she graduated from East Hartford High School where she had the opportunity to explore her acting desires there. She then moved on to Boston Conservatory of Music. From there, she got into Julliard School on scholarship.
Career
She featured in a lot of stage plays when she got out of school. In 1981 she was cast in “Wolfen”, she starred in “Thunder Alley” in 1994, which was her comeback after she took some time away to take care of her child. She has been in lots of television programs including “Seed : A Love Story”, “The 13th Warrior”, “The Young Girl and the Monsoon” and “Looking for an Echo” among others.
Achievement
She received a nomination for a Golden Globe Award for her role in “Bird”. For the same film, she received a New York Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress.
