About Dick Van Patten
Dick Van Patten was a well-known American actor, comedian, and businessman who had a long and illustrious career on screen. He is also well-known for his work as an animal rights activist.
He began his journey into the performing scene as a child actor and was involved in theater before moving on to film and television. He was known for his roles as Tom Bradford in the ABC comedy-drama series "Eight Is Enough" and Jerry in the anthology series "Insight" on television.
In addition to the aforesaid, he also went on to appear in numerous successful and critically acclaimed films and television series under his belt, including "Dirty Little Billy," "Love Is All There Is," "The Silent Service," "Thicker Than Water," and "Hot in Cleveland."
