Thomas Wesley Pentz, known by the stage name Diplo, is an American DJ, record producer and songwriter best recognized as a member of the supergroup, LSD together with rapper Labrinth and singer Sia.
He is also known for being a member of the electronic music duos, Silk City and Jack U.

He was born to Thomas Pentz and Barbara Jean Cox. He has sons named Lazer and Lockett.
Achievements
He earned a nomination for Record of the Year at the 2009 Grammy Awards and another nomination for Best Rap Song in 2012.
Pentz received multiple Grammy Awards for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance Recording in 2016.
