About Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton is a country singer, songwriter, actress and businesswoman known for a collection of country hits including Jolene, Coat of Many Colors, I Will Always Love You and 9 to 5. She is widely referred to as the greatest female country performer of all time. As an actress, she has starred in films such as Rhinestone, 9 to 5 and Blue Valley Songbird.
Throughout her career, she has won several awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award. She has been an inductee to several Halls of Fame including Country Music Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame and Grammy Hall of Fame. In 1984, she was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She married Carl Thomas Dean in 1966. The couple has no children.
