About Domo Genesis
Domo Genesis is the stage name of the American rapper and DJ, Dominique Marquis Cole. His career in rap started in 2009, when he joined the hip hop collective, Odd Future. He came out with his first mixtape, “Rolling Papers”, in 2010.
“Under the Influence”, his second mixtape, received praise for being a significant improvement over his first.
In March 2016, he released “Genesis”, which is his debut studio album.
Personal Life
He was raised in the state of California. Prior to starting his rap career, he studied at Arizona State University for a short while.
Television Appearances
He debuted on television, in 2012, as a guest cast on the sketch comedy television show, “Loiter Squad”.
He also appeared with Tyler, The Creator on “The Late Show with David Letterman” in 2013 to perform the latter’s single “Rusty”.
