Donald Fagen is a celebrated American musician famed as the co-founder, lead vocalist, keyboardist, and songwriter of Steely Dan, a band that was established in the early 1970s. They are known for hit albums such as "The Royal Scam" and "Countdown to Ecstasy".
Following the band's disbandment in 1981, he launched a successful solo career with the release of his debut solo album "The Nightfly," which went platinum after selling more than 1400 million copies worldwide. It also peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Top 200 albums list.
