Duane Lee “Dog” Chapman is an American bounty hunter and a former bail bondsman.
Early Life
Before becoming a bounty hunter Duane Chapman was convicted of first degree murder. He drove a friend who had shot somebody during a drug deal. Chapman served 18 months in prison.
Career
Decades after becoming a bounty hunter, Chapman went to Mexico to capture the fugitive Andrew Luster. However, he was arrested by Mexican police because bounty hunting is illegal there. Eventually, the charges were dropped. Durring this, Chapman also starred Dog The Bounty Hunter, which was a popular reality TV show.
