Ed Kowalczyk became a popular figure in the music industry in 1984 when he co-founded the rock band called Live. Performing as the group’s lead vocalist, the American singer contributed to the recording of their maiden album “The Death of a Dictionary” in 1989. He left the collective in 2009, but returned after seven years.
Solo career
Kowalczyk embarked on a solo career after his first exit from the aforementioned group. In 2010, he issued his maiden album dubbed “Alive”. The project contained arguably his most popular song titled "Grace".

In 1997, he tied the knot with Erin Broderick Kowalczyk.
Education
He studied at William Penn Senior High School.
