Ed Oxenbould is an Australian movie actor. His rise to prominence began when he featured as the central character (Julian Assange) in the 2012 Australian film, Julian.
He experienced huge progress in his acting career after starring as Alexander Cooper in the 2014 fantasy comedy film, titled, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
Ed gained further popularity by appearing in a host of other popular movies and Television series such as the 2015 American horror movie, The Visit (played the role of Tyler) and the Australian comedy-drama series, Puberty Blues (starred as David Vickers).
He also starred together with Jake Gyllenhaal in the American drama film, Wildlife, where he played the role of Joe Brinson.

Ed was raised in a family of prominent movie actors. His dad, Jamie Oxenbould and mom, Di Adams are both seasoned actors, with the former known for his role in the Australian drama series, Nowhere Boys.
His uncle, Ben Oxenbould, is also a very popular actor and comedian. Ed’s aunt, Louise Fox and his uncle, Robert Adams are both renowned screenwriters. His brother, Archie Oxenbould, played Leonard in Scariacs, an Australian TV series.
Achievements
Ed was selected for the award category of Best Young Actor at the AACTA Awards of 2012. He lost the award to Lara Robinson, who starred as young Rose Pickles in the TV drama series, Cloudstreet.
