About Ed Wynn
An old-school comic who went on to become one of the world's most popular clowns and one of the greatest actors of his generation, Ed Wynn was a veteran American actor and comedian who was widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Hollywood history.
He was also known for his groundbreaking radio show "The Fire Chief" from the 1930s, and his later career as a prominent actor. "The Deacon and the Lady," "Ziegfeld Follies," and "The Passing Show of 1916" were among his early Broadway outings.
He appeared in scores of successful films and television programs as an actor, including "That Darn Cat!" "Mary Poppins," "Cinderfella," and “Rubber Heels."
