About Eddie Irvine
Eddie Irvine began his racing career at age 17 when he competed in the Formula Ford competition. After recording a number of successes, he moved to the Formula 3000 and the Formula Three competitions.
He became a global icon in 1993 when he competed in his first Formula One event. Formerly with the Jordan Grand Prix team, the Northern Irish driver joined the Ferrari team in 1996. His breakthrough came three years later when he came second in the World Drivers' Championship. In 2000, he joined the Jaguar Racing team.

After retiring from the sport, Irvine appeared on many radio and television networks. As a businessman, he’s known to be the founder of Eddie Irvine Sports which deals in many sporting activities.
