About Edwin Hubble
Edwin Hubble was a renowned American astronomer who helped to establish many fields of study including ‘observational cosmology’, and ‘extragalactic astronomy’.
He was also one of the earliest scientists to explain that the objects, which were thought to be "nebulae", were galaxies formed above the Milky Way. He propounded lots of laws and schemes including Hubble sequence, and Hubble–Lemaître law.
