In 1928, in her attempt to re-brand in order to obtain roles from non-serial film directors, she adopted the name Greta Yoltz. After a few gigs, however, she returned to using her first name.

After her divorce from film director Justin H. McCloskey, she married Clarence Dywnell Hutson.
