About Enos Slaughter
Enos Bradsher Slaughter was known for his assertiveness and field vision as an American Major League Baseball (MLB) right fielder. The baseball star was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985.

Slaughter lived out most of his youth in America with his 2 siblings, Robert and Helen Walker.
Career
The baseball player began his professional career with St. Louis Cardinals from 1938 to 1953, with a short break between 1942 and 1946. Slaughter was later traded to the New York Yankees from 1954 to 1955 and then played for Kansas City Athletics from 1955 to 1959. The baseball player had a long spell with the New York Yankees again from 1956 to 1959 before retiring with the Milwaukee Braves in 1959. He had a career record of over 100 home runs and more than 1,200 runs batted in.
Personal Life
Slaughter was married and divorced 5 separate times but had 4 children from his marriages. He died in 2002 after battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Achievements
He was a 10-time All-Star (1941, 1942, 1946–1953) and also a 4-time World Series champion (1942, 1946, 1956, 1958).
