About Eric Lindros
A first-overall pick in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, Eric Lindros made his debut in the National Hockey League with the Philadelphia Flyers the following year. He had been selected by the Quebec Nordiques but his refusal to play for the team resulted in him being traded to the Flyers.
His career also saw him spending some of his time in the NHL with the New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs and Dallas Stars, where he retired after the 2006/2007 season. He played international hockey for the junior and senior teams of Canada.
Family Life
He was raised in Toronto as the eldest of the three children of Bonnie Roszell-Lindros and Carl Lindros. He is the elder brother of former NHL player Brett Lindros. His sister’s name is Robin. He has been married to Kina Lamarche since 2012. They are parents to three children.
Achievements
He won the 1995 Hart Memorial Trophy, the 1995 Lester B. Pearson Award and the Bobby Clarke Trophy four times.
Trivia
He has supported the US non-profit, Habitat for Humanity.
