Right from an early age, the pop rock singer Ewa Farna began to make huge waves in her home country the Czech Republic. Some of her notable songs “Malo se Zname,” “Interakcja” and “Vanoce na miru”.
Personal life and Education
She was born into a Polish family. She attended Polish Gymnasium and went to an art school for five years.
She is a dual citizen of Poland and Czech Republic.
Career Highlights
Farna gained recognition after winning a number of talent competitions in both Poland and Czech Republic in 2004 and 2005. Her talents caught the attention of the producer Lešek Wronka who decided to work with her.
The Polish superstar released her first album “Mels me vebec rad” in 2006. The album was widely accepted especially in the Czech Republic as it sold about twenty-five thousand copies. A year later, she released her second album “Tico”, which went on to receive platinum status two months after it was released and rose to number two on the charts in Czech Republic. Farna released the polish version of the album in 2009.
Her third album “Virtualni” was released in 2009 and she worked with Jan Steinsdorfer who was an assistant producer.
Other albums released by the Polish singer include “Inna” and “Cicho”.
Farna worked with labels like Universal Music Poland.
Achievements
She received the Srebrne Award for her excellent works in music.
Her album “Cicho” won the “Album of the Year” at the Opole Festival in 2009.
Trivia
In 2013, she became a judge on the “Czech & Slovak SuperStar”. She has also served as a judge on a Poland television show called “Idol”.
