Early Life
The Phoenix, Arizona-born actress enrolled and graduated from White Salmon and later went on to pursue a short career in the stock company until she ventured into acting.
Career
Spain made her debut in 1957 after appearing in the movie "Dragstrip Girl." In the movie, which was directed by Edward L. Cahn, she was cast as Louise Blake, appearing alongside John Ashley and Steve Terrell.
She then went on to appear in other popular films such as "The Beat Generation" in 1959, "Black Gold" in 1962, "The Great Space Adventure" in 1963, and “The Naked Zoo" in 1970. The last film she appeared in was “The Godfather Part II”, the critically acclaimed 1974 epic crime film directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
The actress also delved into television as she appeared in "The Web" in 1957, "Tombstone Territory" in 1958, and "Michael Shayne" in 1960. Her last TV appearance was in an episode of the police procedural TV series “Police Woman” in 1975.
Personal Life
The actress married John Falvo from 1949 to 1959, John Altoon from 1959 to 1962, Imo Ughini from 1965 to 1966, and Philip Westbrook from 1968 to 1983.
Death
The American actress passed away in 1983, aged 50. The cause of death was lymphatic cancer.
