Felicia Lily Dobson famously known by her stage name as Fefe Dobson is a multitalented Canadian musician. She is an award-winning songwriter and singer. She has released many tracks that have charted on local and international music platforms.
Early Life & Education
Scarborough, Ontario, is her birthplace. However, she is of British and Jamaican descent. During her childhood, she enrolled at the New Conservatory of Music, Scarborough, where she greatly improved her singing talents and learned musical instruments. The singer attended Wexford Collegiate Institute for her high school education. She also attended the Heritage Park Public School.
Major Career Highlights
By age 13, she had recorded several of her tracks on demo tapes and sent them to several recording companies across North America. She then began recording with “Jive Records.” However, she refused a record deal with Jive and eventually signed with “Island/Def Jam” records in 2003.
In December 2003, she released her debut and eponymous album, which saw huge commercial sales and successful singles on the “Canadian Hot 100”. In 2006 and 2010, she released two other successful studio albums, “Sunday Love” and “Joy”.
Aside from music, she has also acted in several films and TV series, including “Home Again” and “Canada's Drag Race.”
