Felicia Pearson is an American rapper, actress and writer who made name for herself playing the eponymous character Felicia "Snoop" Pearson on the popular crime drama television series The Wire. She is also known for her autobiography memoir Grace After Midnight, which was published in 2007.

As a result of her biological parents being convicts and drug addicts, she was raised in a foster home.
She began working as a drug dealer in her early teens. At the age of 14, she shot and killed a girl and was sentenced to eight years in prison after being convicted of second degree murder. She was released after having served almost seven years in prison.
In 2011, she was arrested for drug offences during a raid on her house. She served a month behind bars before being sentenced to a seven-year suspended jail term with three years of supervised probation.
