Flying Lotus is an American rapper, DJ and music producer whose debut studio album 1983 came out in 2006. He went on to boost his popularity with his follow-up albums Los Angeles, Cosmogrammaand Until the Quiet Comes. The song Never Catch Me from his fifth studio album You're Dead! earned him a nomination for Best Dance Recording at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards in 2016.

He is the grandson of renowned songwriter and singer Marilyn McLeod.
Trivia
In 2016, he was heavily criticized for making offensive and sexually explicit jokes about Hillary Clinton during a gig in California. In one of the jokes, he said he could not possibly vote for Hillary since she is not good at giving blowjobs.
