Francis Fukuyama’s knowledge in politics has made him one of the world’s most celebrated personalities. The highly-rated American political economist is known for his role in the rise of the political movement known as “neoconservative”.
As an author
In order to spread his ideologies, Fukuyama has published many books. His most popular work titled “The End of History and the Last Man” was issued in 1992. In the book, he argued that the spread of free-market capitalism and liberal democracies of the West might be the end of human's sociocultural evolution.
His other well-known books include “Trust: Social Virtues and Creation of Prosperity” and “Our Posthuman Future: Consequences of the Biotechnology Revolution”.

Family
His dad, Yoshio Fukuyama, was a renowned writer. He’s the son of Toshiko Kawata Fukuyama, daughter of Shiro Kawata, Osaka City University’s first president. His children with Laura Holmgren are called John, David, and Julia.
Education
Fukuyama attended a number of universities in the United States including Cornell University, Yale University, and Harvard University.
Trivia
He does photography and sound recording in his leisure time.
His cousin, Joe Ide, is also a writer.
