About Frank Costello
Frank Costello began his criminal activities when he was a teenager. During his early years, he was involved in petty crimes such as robbery and assault. By the end of 1917, he had been jailed three times. Costello took his activities to a new level after he came into contact with Charlie "Lucky" Luciano.
The two, alongside other criminals, were involved in many illegal activities such as gambling, narcotics, and theft. In 1950, he survived an assassination attempt which was masterminded by Vito Genovese. He retired soon after the action took place and transferred his powers to Genovese.

Family
His brother Edward was also a mobster. In 1918, he got married to Lauretta Geigerman.
