Having been passionate about music at a young age, he began his career right after high school and rose to prominence as a member of the multi-platinum selling hardcore rap collective Onyx.
He came to the limelight thanks to the legendary hip hop musician Jam Master Jay of Run-D.M.C. and built a solid reputation for himself in the American rap scene thanks to his incredible abilities.

He is also known as an actor for his roles in highly praised and successful films such as "Save the Last Dance," "Promised Land," "Law & Order," and "Torque."
