Genie Francis is an American Emmy Award-winning actress who rose to international fame playing the role of Laura Spencer on the popular daytime television medical drama series General Hospital (GH). She is also known for her portrayal of Genevieve Atkinson on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless.
Family Life
She is the daughter of actor Ivor Francis and Rosemary Daley. She got married to actor and director Jonathan Frakes in 1988. She and Jonathan have two children: Jameson and Elizabeth.
Trivia
According to her, prior to the on-screen kiss she had with actor Kin Shriner on General Hospital in 1963, she had never kissed anyone before.
