George was a regular fill-in for “The Tonight Show” host Johnny Carson. He was arrested numerous times over his career for obscenities, for which he was always released on the basis of Freedom of Speech. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Comedy Awards.

George was raised by a single mother and dropped out of high school when he was 15. He joined the Air Force and was a popular radio host but he was also court martialed 3 separate times. He left the military and started his career into standup comedy. He died in 2008 of heart failure leaving behind a wife and daughter.
