Before penning his first movie script, George Zuckerman wrote for publications like the Esquire, Cosmopolitan, and Collier's Weekly. He started making a name for himself in the film industry in the late 1940s when he provided the story for “Whispering City”, which starred Paul Lukas and Helmut Dantine.
He wrote his maiden film in 1949 which was entitled “Trapped”. The movie was directed by Richard Fleischer. The American screenwriter went on to write many films including “Written on the Wind”, which earned Dorothy Malone an Academy Award.
