Giancarlo Fisichella made his Formula One debut in 1996 after excelling in competitions like the International Touring Car Championship, and the Italian Formula Three Championship. He had his breakthrough in 2003 when he was crowned the winner of the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Throughout his F1 career, the Italian driver has worked for a number of well-known teams like Renault, Ferrari, and Benetton. In 2011, he won his first 24 Hours of Le Mans title.

He’s a descendant of the Fisichella noble family. His three children with Luna Castellani are Carlotta, Carolina, and Christopher.

He won the 2012 edition of Le Mans 24hrs’ GTE Pro division.
