Gianfranco Fini joined the Italian Social Movement at a very young age. He later became a member of the organization’s youth group known as ‘Fronte della Gioventù’. Fini was appointed as the group’s national secretary in 1977 and served under the famous Giorgio Almirante.
After some years, the Italian politician was voted to the honorable Chamber of Deputies. In 2001, Silvio Berlusconi, then Prime Minister of Italy, appointed Fini as his deputy. He held that position until 2006. Two years later, he was elected as the head of the Chamber of Deputies.

His parents are Erminia Marani and Argenio Fini. Until 2007, he was married to Daniela Di Sotto. After their divorce, he started a relationship with a lady named Elisabetta Tulliani. This politician has three children named Giuliana, Martina, and Carolina.
