Giannis Sina O. Antetokounmpo is a basketball player of Greek origin. He is best known as a player for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association.
Family Life
He was born to Nigerian immigrant parents, Charles, a former association football player and Veronica, a former high jumper.
His four brothers include his oldest brother Francis who was born in Nigeria, and three others namely, Thanasis, Alexandros and Kostas, whom he grew up with in Greece.
His first son, Liam Charles was born from his relationship with girlfriend, Mariah Riddlesprigger.
Achievements
He has been listed as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week thrice from 2015 to 2017. He is noted for being Bucks’s all-time leader in triple doubles.
He was awarded the 2019 NBA Most Valuable Player. He has also swept the NBA All-Star title in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

He participated in the 2016 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Italy and the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain, as a player for the Greek National team.
