About Graham Parker
Singer-songwriter Graham Parker began his career in the 1970s. He was popular in the late 1970s for fronting the band Graham Parker & the Rumour. After the band split in 1980, he found commercial success in that decade with the albums “Another Grey Area” (1982), “Steady Nerves” (1985) and “The Mona Lisa’s Sister” (1988).
Education
He studied at Chobham Secondary Modern School, Surrey. However, he dropped out of school at the age of 16.
Achievements
His album, “The Mona Lisa’s Sister” was named in Rolling Stone magazine’s “100 Greatest Albums of the 1980s” list.
Trivia
He reunited with The Rumour members in 2011 for the recording of “Three Chords Good”, an album, and went on to appear with them in the film “This Is 40”, as themselves.
